Our candles feature natural wooden wicks that create a soft, gentle crackling sound as they burn, similar to a miniature fireplace. For an optimal burn, always allow the wax pool to reach the edge of the container on the first burn to prevent tunneling. Before each subsequent burn, gently trim your wooden wick to about 1/8 to 3/16 inch (approximately 3-5mm) by simply pinching off the burnt top or using a wick trimmer. This ensures a clean flame and prevents excessive smoke
